Drop-in Stay and Play sessions!

About Purple Elephant Stay and Play Sessions

Twice-weekly stay and play sessions where families can meet and access family support, and their children can play together. The service supports families with pre-school age children but home-schooled older children are also welcome at sessions; our resources can be borrowed subject to availability. Our service is open to all.

Stay-and-Play sessions

Stay and Play sessions run all year round (with occasional holidays: notice of dates will be given):

 

  • Thursdays:
    Term Time Sessions: 9.00am – 12noon
    (Holiday/half-term: 10.00am – 12noon)

    Please Note:  TEMPORATY VENUE CHANGE – Summer 2026 – See Below:

  • On the following dates, Thursday sessions will be moved to The Key Centre
    (10am – 12 noon)
    July  23rd, 30th
    Aug. 6th, 20th, 27th

  • *We are closed on Thursday 13th August

 

  • Wednesdays at: Frome Library (Justice Lane)
    Term Time Sessions: 1.00pm – 3.00pm
    (Holiday/half-term: 1.00pm – 3.00pm)

  • Please note:  we will close for a holiday on 5th and 12th August

  • Stay-and-Play sessions are Drop-In, turn up any time, booking NOT required
  • Pre-packed Play Sacks and toys are available to borrow subject to availability.
  • Stay-and-Play sessions cost £1 per child (suggested donation).
